Komunitní centrum Matky Terezy, Catholic church and community centre in Chodov, Prague, Czech Republic

The Komunitní centrum Matky Terezy is a modern church complex on the eastern edge of Central Park in Jižní Město, Chodov, next to U Modré školy street. It was blessed and opened on 26 May 2007 and belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of Chodov. Inside is a worship room with a presbytery, called both a church and a chapel, plus a hall for about 500 people.

The need for a new church on Prague's South City was discussed for decades: the 1938 Church of St. Francis of Assisi held about 100 people against some 650 Sunday worshippers. After 1990 an association planned an ecumenical centre for about 500 people, entered into Prague's 1999 zoning plan; the site was bought by the archbishopric. The foundation stone was laid by Archbishop Miloslav Vlk on 27 August 2005, the 95th anniversary of Mother Teresa's birth, and the centre opened on 26 May 2007.

The center is named after Mother Teresa and reflects her values of compassion through its role as a gathering space for the neighborhood. Visitors find a place where religious services and community gatherings share the same purpose.

The complex stands on the eastern edge of Central Park in Jižní Město, on U Modré školy street, directly opposite the Háje metro station (line C) and the Háje area. The site lies in the Chodov cadastral district, so the metro stop is a few minutes' walk away.

The building combines both a place for worship and everyday neighborhood meetings under one roof, which is uncommon in contemporary church construction. This dual function makes it an example of how modern religious architecture can actively support community life.
