Hradiště, Mountain summit in northern Bohemia, Czech Republic.

Hradiště is the highest summit of the Doupovské hory at 934 metres, an elongated, flat-topped hill of nefelinic analcimite with small rock outcrops on its slopes. It lies in the centre of the Hradiště military training area, about seven kilometres northeast of Bražec, and has been closed to the public since the 1950s. Terrain remains of a castle founded probably in the 13th century survive on the top.

A medieval castle stood on the summit in the 13th century, though no written records about it survive; it is thought to have been a predecessor of Duppau Castle. Since the Hradiště military training area was established in the 1950s, the mountain has been closed to the public. Only terrain remnants of the castle remain, damaged by current military use.

The mountain gave its name to the Hradiště military training area, established in the 1950s, which made it inaccessible. Its German name, Burgstadtl, refers to the medieval castle on the summit, of which only terrain remains survive, damaged by military use.

The rock formations display visible mineral and geological features that hint at ancient volcanic activity in the region. Observant visitors can spot the distinct rock layers that read like a stone history of the mountain.
