The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary features three naves with a Gothic transept and Renaissance chancel built in traditional architectural patterns.
The original Romanesque church from 1142 was replaced by a Gothic basilica, which later received Baroque modifications during the 18th-century reconstruction by Jan Santini Aichel.
The church displays decorative elements including frescoes of the Holy Trinity by Jakub Jan Steinfels and multiple artworks from notable Bohemian artists.
Located near the Monastery of Premonstratensians, this religious structure maintains regular mass schedules and welcomes visitors throughout the year.
The bell tower constructed between 1490 and 1493 served as a time signal for local miners, marking the beginning of their work shifts.
