Garáže Řepy, Transport garage complex in Řepy district, Prague, Czech Republic

Garáže Řepy is a large garage complex that maintains and stores buses for Prague's public transportation system. The facility provides covered parking spaces and repair workshops where mechanics service the fleet regularly.

The facility was built in 1976 to address overcrowding at other depot locations and began operations in 1982. Over the decades it has become one of Prague's primary centers for bus maintenance and storage.

The depot's name comes from the Řepy district on Prague's northwestern edge, near the Karlovarská and Slánská junction. Its fleet includes articulated SOR NB 18 and BN 12 buses and, since 2024, three-section Škoda-Solaris 24m trolleybuses. Two articulated Karosa B 961 buses are kept for retro service on line K.

The complex is accessible by public transport and located in the western residential area of Prague. Be aware that this is an active working facility where vehicle maintenance occurs throughout the day.

From 2024 onward, the depot began housing trolleybuses alongside regular buses, reflecting Prague's shift toward electric public transport. This expansion marks a transition in how the city powers its vehicles.
