Церковь Святой Троицы

The Holy Trinity Church is a Baroque structure with a five-sided presbytery framed by a sacristy and a monumental western facade featuring high pilasters and decorative oval openings. Inside, the cross-ribbed vaulting dominates the ceiling, while a rectangular Loreto chapel with coffered decoration adds another layer to the interior composition.

Construction took place between 1594 and 1602 during the early Baroque period. A major fire in 1798 led to significant reconstruction work supervised by architect Jan Santini Aichel.

The church served as a spiritual center for the community and its interior decoration reflects the religious devotion of local people over centuries. The Loreto chapel with its painted coffered ceilings shows how worshippers expressed their faith through the spaces they built and adorned.

The building can be entered through two neo-Gothic portals, giving you a good sense of the style that was added during later renovations. Allow yourself time to explore the various interior features and decorations at a leisurely pace.

The Renaissance bell tower completed in 1604 houses the Kryštof bell, which stands out as one of the country's largest cast bells. This massive bell commands attention and demonstrates the technical skill of the craftsmen who created it centuries ago.
