The Church of the Sacred Heart of Our Lord is an Art Nouveau church that rises at Náměstí Republiky in Husovice, shaped with flowing lines and natural motifs. Its facade and interior showcase curved forms and floral decorations that define this early modern style.

František Venhuda, a catechist at the Husovice school, initiated the construction, and architect Karel Hugo Kepka revised his original Romanesque design in 1905 due to unstable terrain and financial difficulties. The foundation stone was consecrated on 4 November 1906, and the church was completed and consecrated in 1910 by Bishop Pavel Huyn.

The church is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and its five bells, cast in Bochum in 1908, carry inscriptions including "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!" on the 1,900 kg tenor bell. Since the 1990s the pastoral care has been entrusted to the Franciscans.
