Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, Gothic and Baroque church in Šumperk, Czech Republic.
The church combines Gothic foundations with Baroque modifications, featuring lateral chapels and detailed frescoes painted by Ignác Oderlický throughout the interior.
Founded in 1293 as part of a Dominican monastery by Vyšehrad provost Jan, the church underwent reconstruction after fires in 1513 and 1669.
The deconsecrated church serves as a center for classical music concerts, graduation ceremonies, and exhibitions within its preserved Baroque interior.
Visitors can access the church daily from July to August between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with guided tours and tablet audio guides available.
The church contains underground crypts open to public viewing and maintains specific rental policies excluding wedding and funeral services.
