Rotunda of Saint Mary Magdalene

The Rotunda of Saint Mary Magdalene is a circular stone structure built in the Romanesque style, featuring rounded arches and thick walls throughout its design. The cylindrical nave creates a unified interior space typical of early religious buildings in Central Europe.

The building was constructed around 1150, representing one of the earliest examples of religious architecture from the Romanesque period in the Czech lands. This construction method and style influenced religious building practices throughout the region.
