Saint Lawrence church

Saint Lawrence church is a Gothic building that rises in the center of Nový Bydžov on Komenského street. The structure features pointed arches, detailed stonework, and a floor plan that responds to the medieval street layout of the town.

The building was constructed in the first half of the 14th century as Nový Bydžov developed. Over the centuries it kept its Gothic form and served the community as a center of religious practice.
