The Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University occupies a four-storey building with a U-shaped plan at Thákurova 3 in Dejvice, designed by František Havlena and built between 1925 and 1927. Its rear wing houses the three-nave Church of St Adalbert, which seats over 1,500 people and has two pyramidal towers and Byzantine-style interiors. Two seminary gardens fill the courtyard, and the right wing contains a kitchen and a two-storey refectory.

The faculty was founded in the 14th century as part of the first university in Central Europe and played a central role in Prague's academic development. It was reshaped multiple times over the centuries to keep pace with the needs of theological education.

The faculty's seat is the former Archbishop's Seminary in Dejvice, built 1925–1927 to a design by František Havlena. Its church of St Adalbert, with two pyramidal towers and Byzantine-style interiors, seats over 1,500 people, and the library, archive and sacristy occupy the link between the main building and the church.

The campus is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is accessible by public transportation. The buildings form a contained academic space primarily for students and faculty.
