Melice

Melice is a castle ruin situated on elevated terrain within the Vojenský újezd Březina military zone. The stone walls display recognizable features of medieval fortification techniques, with preserved ramparts and structural remains still visible.

The castle was built in medieval times as a strategic fortification protecting the region and served this purpose for centuries. Over time it fell into ruin but remains today as a protected cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
