Oslednice

Oslednice is an observation tower in the historic city of Telč with a height of 36 meters and multiple viewing platforms. From the top, visitors can see across the city and the surrounding countryside with its fields and forests.

The tower was built by the Czech Tourist Club and opened to the public in 2016 as a modern observation point. It added a new way for visitors to experience views of the region beyond walking at ground level.

The tower offers a vantage point to observe Telč's Renaissance and Baroque buildings that define the city's appearance. Visitors can see from above how the historical structures are arranged within the urban layout.

The tower is easily reached from Telč's city center and requires climbing stairs to reach the viewing platforms. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for windy conditions on the higher levels.

The tower offers a rare elevated view of the Vysočina Region, where visitors can see the shape of rolling hills and forest patches from above. This height provides a perspective that ground-level walks cannot offer, revealing the landscape's natural patterns.
