Neulust

Neulust comprises the stone remains of a hunting castle situated in a forested area, displaying structural elements from 18th-century construction. The site shows only fragmented ruins of what was once a larger residential structure.

The hunting castle served as a retreat for Czech nobility across multiple generations before being demolished completely in 1908. Today only scattered fragments of the structure remain visible in the forest.

The name Neulust means "new desire" and reflects this hunting lodge's role as a recreational retreat for Czech nobility across the centuries. The scattered remains hint at spaces where hunting parties once gathered.

The ruins are located in the forest near the town of Uhersko and can be reached via woodland paths. The site is freely accessible, though conditions vary depending on weather and seasonal forest ground.

The ruins preserve intact stone construction details that reveal how hunting palaces differed architecturally from the main nobility residences. These preserved elements offer rare insight into recreational estate design of the era.
