Дом-музей Ярослава Гашека, Memorial museum in Lipnice nad Sázavou, Czech Republic
The museum occupies the building where Czech writer Jaroslav Hašek spent his final years and completed his novels between 1921 and 1923.
The museum preserves original interiors from the early 20th century, displaying newspaper clippings, period items, and translations of Hašek's works from the Vysočina Museum collection.
The exhibition contains manuscripts and personal artifacts of Jaroslav Hašek, the author of The Good Soldier Švejk, documenting his literary career and life experiences.
The museum opens from April through October on weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00, with extended hours in July and August.
The memorial stands near one of the largest medieval castles in the Czech Republic, offering visitors insights into both literary heritage and regional architecture.
