Nový Světlov

Nový Světlov is a château built in Tudor Gothic style with a central concert hall, hotel section, and multiple ceremonial rooms throughout the structure. The property features a 500-seat concert hall, 75 guest beds, and full restaurant facilities.

The castle was originally built as a late Gothic fortress and survived attacks from Swedish forces during the Thirty Years' War. It also withstood an assault by Turkish and Tatar forces in 1663, showing its strategic importance to the region.

The château serves as a regional venue for classical music and theater, with regular concerts, performances, and art exhibitions held throughout the year. The spaces are also used for educational programs aimed at talented young people, giving the place an active role in the region's cultural life.

The building can be rented for weddings and events, with flexible spaces for different group sizes. Visitors should check in advance which areas are publicly accessible or if prior registration is needed.

The château hosts the European Mensa Science Camp, where gifted students participate in English-language lectures, projects, and educational activities. This international program makes it a special venue for nurturing young talent.
