Plaviště, Natural monument in Soseň, Czech Republic

Plaviště is a nature monument in the Soseň cadastral area of Jesenice, Rakovník District, centred on a pond in the spring area of the Kosobodský stream, with an adjoining meadow and a small patch of forest. Its banks and meadow hold peat moss, cotton grass, marsh violet, bogbean and marsh orchid, while the pond shelters great crested and fire-bellied toads and other amphibians.
