Pístecký les

Pístecký les is a nature reserve located between Brozany nad Ohří and Budyně nad Ohří with deciduous forests, open meadows, and wetland areas. These different habitats create a natural mosaic that supports various plant and animal species.

The reserve was established as a protected area in 2006 to preserve the natural ecosystems and biodiversity of the region. This designation recognized the ecological value of the location as a habitat for threatened species.

School groups and local organizations regularly use the reserve to teach visitors about how the different habitats work together. These programs help people understand the connections between forests, meadows, and wetlands in supporting wildlife.
