Rotunda of Saint Catherine in Česká Třebová

Built during the first half of the 13th century, the Rotunda of Saint Catherine served both as a place of worship and a defensive structure in eastern Bohemia.

The Rotunda of Saint Catherine maintains its role as a Catholic church while representing an important example of preserved Romanesque architecture in the region.

Located at 382 meters above sea level, the rotunda welcomes visitors for an entrance fee of 12 Czech Korunas, with the tourist office nearby.

This religious structure stands as the single remaining Romanesque rotunda in the entire eastern part of the Bohemian region of Czech Republic.
