Castle Nejdek, Renaissance Revival château in Nejdek, Czech Republic.

Castle Nejdek is a two-storey château on Karlovarská Street in Nejdek, with a Neo-Renaissance facade from 1889, a new roof and a portal with a beam on the north side. The cellars survive from the earlier building destroyed by the 1857 fire.

A Renaissance château replaced the old castle in the early 17th century under the Šliks. After a fire on 26 June 1857 destroyed the roof and ceilings, the building was rebuilt; in 1889 Moritz von Königswarter gave it its Neo-Renaissance form, with a north portal and new roof.

The castle chapel, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary, stood on the site of the later Kunzmann Villa and was linked to the castle by a vaulted underground passage. The chapel was documented from at least 1787 and became dilapidated in the early 19th century.

The château stands on Karlovarská Street, a short walk from Nejdek's town centre. The cellars that survived the 1857 fire are the oldest part of the building; the former brewery cellars served as an air-raid shelter in the Second World War.
