Střižovický vrch, Mountain summit in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic.
Strisowitzer Berg is a mountain summit in Ústí nad Labem that reaches 348 meters above sea level. It features a flat ridge with forested sections and multiple hiking trails linking the surrounding neighborhoods together.
During the first half of the 20th century, large orchards and maintained meadows covered the mountain and shaped its landscape. Five marked trails crossed the peak during that period, linking different parts of the surrounding area.
The summit serves as a gathering place where residents come to hike, exercise, and spend time with friends and family. The mix of open spaces and wooded areas makes it a popular spot for people seeking outdoor activities near the city.
Multiple marked paths lead to the peak, including Balzakova cesta from Štursova Street and Březinova stezka from Hynaisova Street. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear and follow the trails to navigate safely.
On clear days, visitors can see the České středohoří mountains from the peak, including distant peaks like Milešovka. The view extends up to 90 kilometers on the best visibility days.
