Terezské údolí, Nature reserve near Drahanovice and Laškov, Czech Republic.
Terezské údolí is a nature reserve spanning about 86 hectares that protects a 3.5-kilometer valley of the Šumice River. The area features winding streams and diverse forest habitats typical of the region.
The reserve received protected status in October 2006 when the Regional Authority of the Olomouc Region designated it as protected. This designation recognized the area's ecological and archaeological importance.
The educational trail features twelve stops where visitors discover information about the natural diversity and archaeological finds in the area. These stations help walkers connect with the region's heritage as they move through the valley.
Visitors can access the area through marked trails with yellow markings leading toward Krakovec and red markings pointing toward Laškov. The trails are clearly signed and allow for different routes through the valley.
The area contains the Rmíz fortification, one of the oldest documented stone fortifications in the Czech Republic. This archaeological site reveals early human settlement and defensive structures in the region.
