Tři Trubky

Tři Trubky is a late 19th century hunting lodge with romantic architecture and a courtyard featuring covered arcades. The estate sits on spacious grounds that include a historic garden, a pond, and wooded areas with a small power station nearby.

The lodge was built between 1888 and 1890 by Viennese architect Camillo Sitte for Count Jeroným Colloredo-Mannsfeld. In the 1930s it served as a residence for Czech political leaders.

The name 'Three Pipes' refers to the water conduits that supplied the estate with water from the surrounding area. Visitors can observe how water management shaped the design and layout of the grounds.

The estate is accessible via a walking trail of roughly 2.5 kilometers from the Padrťský potok parking area, following a path alongside the Klabava River. The route passes through forested terrain that is manageable on foot.

The estate features a remarkable self-sustaining water system and a small hydroelectric station that once powered the entire complex. This engineering solution reveals how advanced the installation was for its time.
