The Parish of Saint John the Baptist in Dolní Lutyně is a Roman Catholic parish in the Karviná deanery of the Ostrava-Opava diocese, with its parish church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. Masses are also held in Polish for the Polish minority.

The parish arose in the 14th or first half of the 15th century and appears as Lutina in the 1447 register of Peter's Pence compiled by Opole archdeacon Mikołaj Wolff, whose fees suggest about 210 parishioners. It turned Lutheran in the 16th century, was Catholic again under the Frýštát deanery by 1654, passed to the Katowice diocese in 1938, back to Wrocław on 1 January 1940, and joined the Ostrava-Opava diocese in 1996.

Mass is also celebrated in Polish for the Polish minority of Dolní Lutyně, a legacy of the parish's centuries under the Wrocław diocese and its Polish-speaking clergy; in 1847 the parish priest Franz Pawelek, born in 1801 in Ligota Górna, served a parish whose language was Polish.
