Pernikářka, Cultural monument in Hanspaulka, Czech Republic.
Pernikářka is a protected homestead in Prague featuring a main residential building with Classicist design elements. The property is surrounded by an enclosed yard, with most original agricultural structures removed over time.
The estate was created between 1691 and 1700 as a vineyard property, named after Václav Doležal who inherited it from his mother in 1656. The Institute of Experimental Botany later used the site for research activities until closing in 2008.
The property takes its name from a gingerbread maker whose family shaped the area over generations. The name reflects the craft tradition that once defined this place.
The property is located in the Dejvice district and can be reached by tram lines 20 and 26 to the Na Pískách stop. From there, follow Na Perníkářce Street to reach the estate entrance.
The property underwent major renovations in 2017 when farm buildings were demolished. Only the main house remains protected as a cultural monument.
