The medieval structure has served as the center of city administration since the mid-14th century, surviving a devastating fire in 1362.
The edifice represents Gothic architectural elements with its tall tower functioning as both an administrative center and a symbol of municipal power.
Visitors can access the tower observation point between May and September to view the surrounding landscape and the Ohře River valley.
The building connects to the narrowest street in the Czech Republic, the Katova ulicka, measuring only 66.1 centimeters at its tightest point.
