Jaroslav Ježek Museum - Blue Room, Musical memorial in Old Town, Czech Republic.
The Blue Room contains original Functionalist furniture, a Steinway piano, and an extensive collection of books and musical scores at Kaprova Street 10.
The composer's mother and sister preserved the apartment exactly as Jaroslav Ježek left it before his forced emigration to the United States in 1939.
The memorial displays personal items, including sheet music with dedications from composers Igor Stravinsky and Darius Milhaud, reflecting musical connections of the 1930s.
The memorial opens exclusively on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 18:00, with adult tickets priced at 70 CZK and free entry for children under 15.
Architect František Zelenka designed black-stained furniture specifically to accommodate Ježek's limited vision, creating strong contrasts within the space.
