History
Construction of the church began in 1926 under architects Josef Gočár and Josef Havlíček, with its consecration taking place on April 30, 1929. The project emerged from a desire to create a modern place of worship using contemporary architectural expression.

The chapel displays a contemporary laminate cross by artist Maxim Velčovský from 2002, crafted with fine anatomical indentations that complement the minimalist interior space.
