Construction of the church began in 1926 under architects Josef Gočár and Josef Havlíček, with consecration ceremonies taking place on April 30, 1929.
The church contains a contemporary laminate cross by artist Maxim Velčovský from 2002, displaying anatomical indentations that align with the minimalist interior.
The complex includes congregation rooms, staff quarters, and a columbarium for urns, with mechanical ventilation systems operated by gear wheels and chains.
The bell tower incorporates a large chalice symbol of the Hussite Church, constructed entirely from reinforced concrete with a plaster finish.
