The Church of Saint Ludmila features two distinct architectural elements that reflect the late Baroque period with Romanesque Revival influences in its construction.
Built in 1660 as a Jesuit chapel dedicated to Saint Anna, the structure experienced a devastating fire in 1734 before its reconstruction.
The interior of the church contains a main altar dedicated to Saint Ludmila, recognized as the first female saint from both Bohemian and Slavic regions.
Visitors can attend Roman Catholic services every Sunday at 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM, with additional services scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays at 6:30 PM.
The church stands as the second oldest preserved building within the Prague municipal district of Horní Počernice, integrated into the Chvaly Castle complex.
