The Church of Saint Lawrence is a single-nave Baroque church in Rynárec, built of broken stone, measuring 14.90 m long and 8.40 m wide, with a tower on the western facade and a barrel vault. Its main altar holds a painting of Saint Lawrence; the altar and the rest of the basic furnishings date from the 18th century.

The original wooden Romanesque church on this site was consecrated in 1203 by Prague bishop Daniel II. The present building was erected in 1708 under archbishop Jan Josef Breuner, and the Baroque church received its final form in 1733. The parish belongs to the Pelhřimov vicariate of the České Budějovice diocese.

The parish of Rynárec, served by this church, covers Rynárec and nine surrounding villages: Dobrá Voda, Houserovka, Letny, Nemojov, Pavlov, Radňov, Rovná, Vratišov and Zajíčkov.
