The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary features characteristic elements of baroque architecture with a prominent tower visible from multiple directions in the town.
Built in the first half of the 12th century around 1125, the church underwent reconstruction in the 14th century, transforming from Romanesque to Romanesque-Gothic style.
The interior houses three bells dating from 1876 and 1889, along with an altar painting of the Virgin Mary created in 1861.
Located on Jungmannova Street at coordinates 50.366915, 15.632086, the church maintains regular Catholic services and welcomes visitors throughout the year.
The Neo-Romanesque tower, constructed between 1876 and 1880, replaced the original structure after it was struck by lightning in the 19th century.
