The Church of Saint Catherine is a religious building in the village with Baroque architectural features, including ornate decorative details and a traditional bell tower. The structure displays the characteristic style of the region through its decorated facades and sturdy tower.

A chaplaincy in Vranová Lhota is first recorded in 1507. A Baroque chapel stood on the site from 1712, and in 1788 a late Baroque church was begun on its spot, completed in 1792 together with the parish house. It was declared a cultural monument in November 1998 and restored a year later.

The church is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Above the tower door are a sculpture of the Good Shepherd and a relief of the Lamentation of Christ, and a memorial plaque honours Jan Sládek, a native of Vranová Lhota. The interior holds the original altar from the Baroque chapel that stood on the site from 1712.

The church stands in the centre of Vranová Lhota, with the adjacent parish house built alongside it in 1792. The tower adjoins the presbytery, so the main entrance and the memorial plaque to Jan Sládek are best found by walking round the tower base. The building was reconstructed in 1999 after being declared a cultural monument in November 1998.
