Church of Saint Giles, Gothic church in Bohuňov, Czech Republic
The Church of Saint Giles stands with its rectangular floor plan, featuring a single nave, rectangular presbytery, and semicircular sacristy along its central axis.
Built between 1820 and 1821 in Empire style, this church replaced an earlier stone structure from the 14th century that contained two bells in its tower.
The interior holds fourteen stations of the cross created by an unidentified artist during the first half of the nineteenth century.
The church maintains regular religious services and offers barrier-free access through a ramp alongside its entrance staircase.
The organ, renovated in 2015, represents opus 16 by Karel Zadák II and contains historical pipes comparable to those made by Jan Mudroch in Tišnov.
