Church of Our Lady of Victories, Modern Catholic church in Moravský Žižkov, Czech Republic

The Church of Our Lady of Victories is a Roman Catholic church built in 2002 at the crossroads in the centre of Moravský Žižkov, on the site of the former village cemetery. It consists of a nave and a separate free-standing tower with three bells and a cross, aligned on the northeast side. The windowless south facade has a portal with massive doors bearing a cross relief, and above it a statue of Our Lady of Victories was placed in 2006. Floor-to-ceiling windows at the rear light the white interior, where wooden pews, a choir gallery with organ and a coloured-glass cross above the altar stand out.

The church was built in 2000–2002 on the site of the former village cemetery, funded mainly by local residents through a collection, with a contribution from the municipality. The foundation stone was blessed by Pope John Paul II during his visit to Olomouc in 1997, after the village had sought its own church since 1875. It was consecrated to Our Lady of Victories on 17 August 2002 and is a filial church of the Velké Bílovice parish.
