Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Skořenice, Catholic church in Skořenice, Czech Republic

The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene is a Catholic place of worship with traditional Czech architectural features at the center of Skořenice village. The building displays typical elements of sacred architecture with stone facade and characteristic window openings.

The church was founded in the second half of the 19th century, not in the Middle Ages. From 1879 to 1894 Jan Cvrk served as its first listed clergyman. From 1922 to 1946 Karel Stehlík was dean in Skořenice, and since 2015 Bogdan Roman Ganczarski has been administrator.
