Water tower of Plzeňský Prazdroj

The red brick water tower rises above the brewery buildings, featuring industrial architectural elements and structural components from the late 19th century.

Built during the industrial expansion of Plzeňský Prazdroj, this tower provided essential water storage for the brewing operations that began in 1842.

The water tower contains archived documents detailing the original brewing methods and quality analyses of Pilsner Urquell beer from 1897 onwards.

Located at coordinates 49.751431, 13.391092 in the Východní Předměstí district of Pilsen, the tower remains part of the brewery's guided tour circuit.

Messages for future generations were placed at the tower's peak during the 150th anniversary of Pilsner beer trademark registration.
