The Church of Saint Bartholomew stands with its tall stone walls and architectural features characteristic of medieval religious buildings in South Bohemia.
Construction of the church began in the 1350s during the reign of King Přemysl Otakar II, incorporating elements from the Hessen-Westphalian architectural school.
