Church of Saint Bartholomew

The Church of Saint Bartholomew is a religious building in Kunžak with tall stone walls and architectural features typical of medieval sanctuaries in South Bohemia. The floor consists of granite slabs arranged in rectangular and square patterns, maintained through regular cleaning and restoration work.

Construction of the building began in the 1350s and shows influences from medieval architecture of that period. The structure reflects the religious building practices that were common in South Bohemia during the Middle Ages.

The building underwent specialized repairs to its flying buttresses using high-pressure jets and steam cleaning to combat damage from rainwater and organic growth. These modern preservation methods help keep the historical structure intact for future generations.
