New Town Hall in Jablonec nad Nisou, Administrative building in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic
The New Town Hall features a 51-meter rectangular tower with a clock, forming a central structure with four wings in Peace Square.
Construction of the New Town Hall began in 1931 after a competition attracting 177 architects, with Karel Winter's design selected from twelve finalists.
The building combines functionalist architecture with traditional elements, representing the progression of Czech administrative buildings during the interwar period.
The town hall tower opens to visitors every hour between 10 AM and 4 PM on weekdays during July and August.
The structure maintains its original paternoster lift and houses multiple facilities including administrative offices, a cinema, and a wine bar.
