Town hall in Hradec Králové

The town hall is a Renaissance-style administrative building that dominates the center of the main square with its triangular shape and stone columns. It features ornate decorated windows and a striking clock tower that rises prominently from its roofline.

Built in 1574, the building served as the administrative center when Hradec Králové held the status of a royal dowry city for Bohemian queens. Its construction marked a period when the city was gaining wealth and political importance.
