Mederův dům, Renaissance house in Žatec, Czech Republic.
The Meder House features multiple levels with Gothic cellars, Renaissance architecture elements, and a historic kitchen displaying archaeological discoveries.
The first documented owner of the house was Regina Briskova from a butcher family, who sold it to her nephew in 1564.
The house includes the Hus Room, where religious reformer Jan Hus stayed, and the Blue Salon representing the First Republic period.
The building opens daily from June to September between 10:00 and 16:00, while from October to May it operates Friday through Sunday.
Archaeological findings from different periods are displayed throughout the house, allowing visitors to experience a hands-on treasure hunt.
