Bílovice Castle

Bílovice Castle is a residential manor house displaying the classical features of South Moravian noble estates, built from stone with symmetrical facades and multiple stories. The complex includes a main residence, chapel, and auxiliary buildings typical of Czech country houses from past centuries.

The estate originated as a residence for local noble families and went through several phases of renewal as owners updated it to match their preferences. The current form is mainly shaped by 18th-century building traditions that combined practical layouts with classical design elements.

The chapel within the grounds reflects how the nobility practiced their faith, while the interior furnishings show daily life in a Bohemian manor house. Visitors can see how personal religion and the display of wealth were intertwined here.
