Nezamyslice Castle

Nezamyslice Castle is a fortified residence in the Olomouc Region featuring Renaissance foundations with later Baroque modifications. The structure with its limestone walls sits within a larger architectural complex in the village.

The castle was built in the early 17th century in Renaissance style and underwent major reconstruction in the Baroque style during the 1700s. This renovation defined much of its current appearance.

The structure displays architectural elements from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, each representing different chapters in Czech design history. These styles blend visibly throughout the building's facades and interior spaces.

The property now serves as a social welfare facility and can be viewed from the outside. The location is easily accessible and situated in the village center.

A Baroque granary dating from 1679 still stands as part of the castle complex. This outbuilding reveals the property's historical importance to the region's agriculture.
