Schubertova vila

Schubertova vila is a single-story Renaissance Revival villa with an irregular floor plan, corner rustication, and decorative sgraffito bands on its facades. The structure includes a basement level, a central three-axis projection featuring a loggia, and small terraces flanking both sides of the main facade.

Architect Zdenko Schubert von Soldern designed this residence in 1871 for Dr. Eduard Schubert, integrating Renaissance Revival elements throughout the property. The house was built as a private residence during a period when this architectural style was popular in Bohemia.

The building displays Renaissance Revival features with decorative sgraffito bands created by painter Viktor Schubert as artistic embellishment. The tower with its pyramidal roof and Tuscan columns forms a distinctive element visitors notice when approaching the house.
