Libenského Colonnade

The Libenského Colonnade is a modern glass-and-concrete structure built over a natural mineral spring that emerges from the ground in the center of Poděbrady. The building features a transparent glass roof supported by concrete pillars, creating a spacious columned hall that visitors can walk through.

The colonnade was designed in 1938 by architect Vojtěch Kerhart using modernist principles and innovative glass-and-concrete techniques for its time. The building has shaped Poděbrady's identity as a spa town and represents the architectural progress of Czech modernism.
