Church of Holy Trinity

The Church of Holy Trinity is the oldest stone building in Hostinné, featuring a 53-meter-high tower with two historical bells. Inside, a Neo-Gothic high altar from 1878 stands alongside Baroque side altars, creating a mix of architectural periods.

The church's first written mention appears in 1270, showing its ancient roots in the town. Major Renaissance renovations in the 16th century shaped much of what visitors see today.

The church's name reflects the Christian Trinity, a theme woven through its interior decoration and religious symbolism. Local families of importance chose this space for their final resting places, making it a record of who shaped the town over centuries.

A Renaissance pulpit from 1612 displays carved figures representing biblical characters, showing fine craftsmanship from that era. This work alongside preserved family tombstones offers a rare glimpse into the artisan skills of earlier centuries.
