The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Chotíkov is a brick building located within the village center with traditional architectural features. The structure displays characteristics typical of churches found across western Czech regions.

A church on this site was first mentioned in 1352, likely built earlier by the vladykas of Chotíkov at their manor. It burned around 1660 and decayed; the ruined church was closed and demolished in 1828. The present church is a new building from 1834, consecrated on 20 September 1835. Two bells were hung in the tower in 1908, one of which survives.

The church functions as a gathering place for worship and community events throughout the year. Its role in local life reflects deep-rooted religious traditions that shape how people in the village mark important occasions.

The building can be reached via the main road connecting Chotíkov to Plzeň with parking available near the entrance. Visitors should note that services are held at specific times and the site should be treated respectfully as a place of worship.

Above the sacristy door hangs a wood carving of Saint George fighting a dragon, a detail easily missed. The main altar holds a large painting of Christ on the cross with Mary and John, attributed to Karel Škréta and set in a frame made in 1873 to a design by Bedřich Wachsmann.
