Church of Saint Joseph, Religious monument in Hutisko, Czech Republic.

The Church of Saint Joseph is a single-nave stone church built around 1748 in Hutisko-Solanec, about 6 km east of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Its tower and main entrance with a stone portal date from the 1846 enlargement. The interior is dominated by the main altar with a painting of Saint Joseph and two side altars dedicated to Our Lady Help of Christians and Saints Peter and Paul.

A wooden church built in 1732 served Hutisko as a filial church under the parish of Rožnov, with Horní Bečva, Prostřední Bečva, Solanec and Velké Karlovice also assigned to it. After it burned down, the present single-nave masonry church was built around 1748, largely financed by the Solanec fojt Jiří Křenek (1708–1766) and built with the participation of the Hukvaldy master mason Jan Jiří Görig. Hutisko became an independent parish in 1843; three years later the church was enlarged, received a tower and a new main entrance with a stone portal.

The church is dedicated to Saint Joseph, and its interior paintings by František Podešva (1928 and 1950) show New Testament scenes in the style of Moravian Wallachian folk art. The main altar holds an image of Saint Joseph, flanked by side altars to Our Lady Help of Christians and Saints Peter and Paul.

The church stands about 6 km east of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, on the boundary of the former villages of Hutisko and Solanec, with a cemetery around it. The sandstone tombstone of Jiří Křenek, who largely financed the 1748 building, stood by the church until 1952; it and his wife Rozina's tombstone are now in the Valašské muzeum v přírodě collections.

The late-baroque sandstone tombstone of fojt Jiří Křenek (1708–1766), who largely financed the church, stood beside it until 1952, when it and his wife Rozina's tombstone were moved off the cemetery. Since the second half of the 1960s both are in the collections of the Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
