The Maria column in Krajková stands on a square base with three granite steps, surrounded by four corner posts with prismatic bases and spherical capitals. A prismatic sandstone plinth bears the Hrzán of Harasov coat of arms and the monogram M.P.V.P.G.H.G.V.H; above it rise a smooth granite shaft with a Corinthian capital and a trachyte statue of the Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child, both crowned.

The column was erected in 1701 as a gift from Countess Marie Polyxena of Písnice, born Hrzánová of Harasov, whose monogram and coat of arms are carved on the pedestal. The signature "P.A.F." and the date on the acanthus capital identify the sculptor as Peter Anton Felssner of Cheb. In 1922 a copy by sculptor Karel Wilfert replaced the eroded top statue; the column was taken down in 2012 for restoration.

The column carries the coat of arms of the Hrzán of Harasov family and the monogram M.P.V.P.G.H.G.V.H, recording donor Marie Polyxena of Písnice, born Hrzánová of Harasov. The Virgin Mary holds the Christ Child, whose head rests on her left shoulder; both figures wear crowns.

The column sits in the center of Krajková village and is easily accessible on foot. It works well as a brief stop while exploring the area or passing through the village.

The fountain beside the column is a separate cultural monument, protected since 1987. The column itself bears the monogram M.P.V.P.G.H.G.V.H on the front of its pedestal, standing for Marie Polyxena of Písnice, née Hrzánová of Harasov, who donated it. The sculptor's signature "P.A.F." and the date 1701 are cut into the acanthus capital.
