Church of Saint John of Nepomuk, Baroque church in Omlenička, Czech Republic.

The Church of Saint John of Nepomuk is a single-nave Baroque church attached to the south wing of the Omlenička manor. A square tower with a tiered cupola rises on its north side, and the flat-ended presbytery closes the nave. Inside, vaulting rests on pilasters, with wall paintings of the Last Supper, the Coronation of the Virgin and the Holy Family.

The church was built in the 1720s in Baroque style at the expense of Count Jan Antonín Nütz and consecrated on 18 October 1722 by Benedikt Janoušek, parish priest and district vicar of Kaplice. A parish was established here in 1739, and from 1778 the church was administered by the Vyšší Brod monastery. Repairs followed in 1879 and 1882; after decades of disrepair, extensive restoration began in the 2010s.

The church was originally consecrated to Our Lady of Sorrows and only later also placed under Saint John of Nepomuk, whose image by F. O. Staubman forms the main altarpiece. A bell from 1590, 84 cm across, and a Baroque baptismal font with a group of the Baptism of the Lord came here from the demolished church of Saints John and Paul in Kapličky, razed in 1959.

The church functions as an active place of worship where services are held regularly, and visitors are welcome to enter during these times. Respectful behavior and modest dress are appropriate when visiting during religious services.

The church holds furnishings moved here from the demolished Church of Saints John and Paul in Kapličky, razed in 1959: a bell cast in 1590 measuring 84 cm across, a Baroque baptismal font with a group depicting the Baptism of the Lord, a glass chandelier and a statue of Saint Wenceslas.
