Sobčice Chateau is an early Baroque single-storey building with a mansard roof, built in 1630–1634 on the site of a medieval fortress. Above the entrance is the monogram of the Carthusian monastery, and a small tower with an onion dome rises above the doorway. The tower's first floor holds the Chapel of Saint Bruno.

A medieval fortress stood on this site, documented from the 14th century and held by the lords of Sobčice; it burned in 1575 and was repaired in 1584. In 1630–1634 it was rebuilt as an early Baroque chateau, probably by Nicolò Sebregondi for Stanislav Dohalský of Dohalice. In 1661 it was sold to the Valdice monastery, and in 1824 it passed to the Trauttmansdorff family.

The chateau's name comes from the village of Sobčice, seat of the Sobčice landowners recorded from 1373. Above the entrance is the monogram of the Carthusian monastery of Valdice, which bought the estate in 1661 and used the building to administer its Sobčice and Vojice domains from 1737. In the tower's first floor is the Chapel of Saint Bruno.
