The Church of Saint John the Baptist in Záblatí is a Gothic church from the mid-14th century. Its nave was rebuilt as a double nave and newly vaulted in the first quarter of the 16th century, and a Baroque Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk was added between 1729 and 1733. The church burned in 1874 and was repaired in 1875.

The church holds furnishings from the first third of the 18th century. The main baroque altar shows the beheading of Saint John the Baptist, flanked by statues of Saint Joachim and Saint Anne. In the northern aisle, the altarpiece of the Holy Family is sometimes attributed to Petr Brandl, with a purgatory relief on its predella. The southern aisle has an altarpiece of the Virgin Mary with Saint Anthony.

The place is accessible during weekdays and weekends, with regular services held on Sundays. Visitors should remember that this is an active worship space where respectful behavior is expected.

The church's organ dates from 1783 and was built by František Lorenz Richter. The Gothic stone baptismal font in the vestibule is older than the rest of the furnishings, which come from the first third of the 18th century.
